Sustainable Selection by Lyreco
Read about our sustainability policy
For drawing, making quick notes or drafting – pencil is one of the basic writing accessories. If you want to enjoy top comfort, choose reliable and branded drafting accessories. You can find them on Lyreco.pl – there are also fine ballpoint pens and ball pens.
Our offer includes mechanical pencils (Pentel, Faber Castell and other reliable brands), as well as traditional wooden variants. The selection of the product depends on its application.
The mechanical pencil guarantees high precision and lets you control the shape, length and thickness of the lines. The thickness of the lead will not change and ergonomic grip will assure comfortable use, even if you have been working on the draft for many hours. Which mechanical pencil to choose? The one which suits you in terms of design and lead thickness (e.g. 0,35 mm or 0,5 mm). Pay attention to the quality!
A classic wooden pencil performs well during your everyday works, occasional office works, and when you deal with an artistic drawing. A traditional structure assures increased freedom of movement, and depending on the pressure and angle of the pencil, you can have various aesthetic effects, various lines.
When choosing a relevant pencil, pay attention to whether the lead is soft or hard.
If you wonder what drawing pencil is the best, remember that it all depends on your drawing type. If you focus on a technical drawing, rely on a hard pencil (hardness H, 2H): thanks to it, your lines will be thin and precise and can be easily erased.
If you are supposed to prepare an artistic drawing, the best variant is a soft pencil (B, 2B): with considerable saturation of colors, easy-to-rub on the paper but hard-to-erase.
The compromise between these two kinds is HB pencil – it assures high intensity of colors and can be easily erased.
Do you look for a pencil? Please be advised to see erasers and pencil leads as well.
Check also: markers, highlighters, marker pens and fine ballpoint pens.
